Camperdown business man buys Leura hotel
After five years on the market the Leura Hotel in Camperdown has been sold to a local businessman.
Lawrie Vouiter bought the historic building this week with plans to lease the property.
He says he's not sure what he'll do with the building but he's open to suggestions.
James H Monk Real Estate says the building can be operated as a pub or it can be transformed in a restaurant or retail outlet.
The Edwardian-era building was renovated in 2011 and the upstairs level consist of 38 bedrooms with bathroom facilities in the east and west wings.
