A wet month has seen the delay of a bridge reconstruction in Forest Street.
The road which has been closed since construction began was set to reopen later this month, but the January downpour has meant for delays in the project.
While the bridge is formed line marking, cement curing and further works on the roads connecting the bridge are still underway.
The one-million dollar bridge upgrade began in July, as a means to keep up with the volume of heavy vehicles that travel through the section at Colac East.
