Police investigating the shovel attack on a man at a camp site off the Great Ocean Road say a man they've questioned has been eliminated as a suspect.
45 year old Melbourne father Malcolm Woodford was hit in the head during a fight with other campers at Glenaire on Easter Sunday.
Police have released composite images of a man and woman they still want to question.
The man is believed to be in his early 30s, about 173 centimetres tall, with a thin build, an Italian accent and a distinctive regular facial twitch, including blinking eyes.
The woman is believed to be in her late 20s or early 30s, about 162 centimetres tall, with long brown hair and an olive complexion
She was wearing black leggings, a red jacket and light-coloured beanie.
