Hamilton Kangaroos sit just one game out of the Hampden Football League top five, recording a 48-point win against Cobden on Saturday.

The Kangaroos dominated the match, in slippery conditions, and Levi Dare was a force with 70 hit outs against his old side.

Portland went into its match against South Warrnambool with Jake Wilson back in the side, but the Roosters still dominated, winning by 71 points.

The Tigers were kept scoreless in the opening term.

Warrnambool comfortably defeated Koroit by 29 points, Darren Ewing kicked six to take his season tally to 28 goals from four matches.

In the other matches Port Fairy and North Warrnambool proved too good.
