Colac Police have been busy getting more dangerous drivers off our local roads.

Offenders caught by officers over the last few days includes a 45 year old woman from Colac who was intercepted on Pollack street late last week.

The woman was found to be driving with no attached number plates with the vehicle being unregistered.

Her Volkswagen Golf was impounded for thirty days at a cost of over fourteen hundred dollars, she’s also set to face court for a number of driving offenses.

Meanwhile, a 37-year-old man was found to be driving under the influence of drugs at Pirron Yallock over the weekend.

Colac Highway Patrol pulled the man over on Saturday morning along the Princes Highway during a routine intercept.

The man was found to be driving unlicensed, while an oral fluid test showed he was under the influence of a prescribed illicit drug.

His car was also impounded and he’s set to face court.
