Senior Sergeant of the Colac Police Station, Ken Slingsby, said the disclosure of vehicles, which often distinctive and easily linked to the owner of the vehicle, was a deliberate attempt to prevent people from offending.

"It'll be all over our Eyewatch page, and everyone gets information from there. We won't show number plates, but the car will be there. It's just a bit of a warning out there, if people see a car they know they'll probably think maybe I shouldn't be doing it myself."
