"In what appears to be a targeted attack, all four tyres of a utility parked at the address were slashed sometime between Friday evening and Saturday morning," Apollo Bay Station Manager Sergeant Damien Bould said.
"The following evening a male prowler was observed to walk onto a property in Gambier Street around midnight," Sergeant Bould said.
"He used his phone light to assist in getting through a gate before walking into the rear yard towards an adjoining townhouse."
"When the female occupant yelled out to the male he attempted to hide in the shadows before casually walking away, the male is described as being very large and solid wearing a black hoody."
"The behavior of this offender is reprehensible, so accordingly we need our Community to assist with information."
"We believe the two incidences are related."
